Gorwydd Caerphilly is a versatile cheese that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. It is delicious on its own, served on a cheeseboard with fruits, nuts, and crackers. It also melts beautifully, making it a great addition to sandwiches, salads, and cooked dishes.

It is a semihard, unpasteurised, raw cow’s milk cheese made in Somerset by the Trethowan Brothers.

Gorwydd Caerphilly is a beloved traditional cheese with a rich history and delicious flavour. On the nose, the rind is mushroomy while the creamy crumbly texture within has notes of hazelnut, turning grassier with citrus. It has an exceptional flavour making it a favourite among cheese enthusiasts from far & wide!
