Aubrey Allen sources and supplies artisan cheeses that epitomise quality and taste.

Our cheeses are lovingly handmade, often by the second or third generation of a family – not unlike Aubrey Allen itself. Our compatibilities are reflected in the long-standing relationships between our cheese experts and these craft cheesemakers.

In 2024, we were granted the Royal Warrant to His Majesty The King, officially recognising us as a trusted purveyor of meat and cheese to the Royal Household. With over 15 years of service to the British Royal Household, where we held the Royal Warrant for meat under her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II until her passing, this new Royal Warrant to His Majesty The King recognises the cheese provisions that are supplied by Aubrey Allen to the British Royal Household.

Guy, our Cheese Manager has over 24 year experience of being cheesy! Simeon was his mentor for 10 of those early years before Simeon set up Fromage to Age. They then started working together again when Simeon sold Fromage to Age to Aubrey Allen and Guy joined us. Guy is a Judge at the British Cheese Awards, International Cheese Awards and Scottish Dairy Awards
Craig has worked in cheese for 8 years and each year his passion for cheese grows. He is responsible for bringing you our seasonal cheese list believing that each cheese is best at a certain time of the year. He loves working with suppliers to find new, and exciting products and looks after our cheese room team
Eric, has worked with cheese for 108 seasons and you will mostly see Eric in London or surrounding counties. The magic and skill that goes into cheese making and is passed on through the generations makes Eric happy. Eric lives and breathes cheese whether in the UK or in his native home, France
Simeon is celebrating his 40th year in cheese, so there is very little that he doesn’t know or love about cheese. He is entranced by so many things – Mother Nature providing the seasons, the grasses, the animals, the milk – all harnessed by the skilful cheesemakers and affineurs who create the most wonderful nutritious food.
