We have chosen our favourite Scottish seasonal cheeses for the start of a new year. A perfect end to your meal or for your evening cheese board. Each cheese has been carefully selected to bring you a delicious selection that we know you'll love as much as we do!
Strathdon Blue has a firm texture yet yielding paste with a rich, sweet blue flavour, slightly steely on the finish.
A soft washed rind cheese. Minger has a strong washed rind aroma with a soft fresh creamy centre.
Smooth and soft textured with a meaty flavour. Enclosed in an edible white rind.
Isle of Mull Cheddar
A hearty, full-flavoured Scottish Farmhouse Cheddar, Isle of Mull is drier in texture than other Cheddars with flavours that are upfront, richly savoury and boozy.
This year has been particularly difficult for cheesemakers having to stop and start production with many hospitality outlets closed or operating at reduced capacity. The upshot is that many cheeses are in very short supply and there could be times when we have to substitute some cheeses in place of those originally advertised and proposed. We are confident that any replacements will be of similar or superior quality. We ask for your understanding.
